Job Details

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and tools throughout the facility.
  • Work independently to meet maintenance requirements and keep detailed maintenance records.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on the property including landscaping and grounds.
  • Perform repair and maintenance of facility s air compressor.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance and repair (repair of leaks, unclog drains, replacement of plumbing fixtures).
  • Perform minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry work.
  • Provide sanitation support when necessary and use proper procedures for handling basic cleaning chemicals.
  • Assist with additional projects and other duties as required.

The Facility Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 5 plus years of maintenance experience preferably in the areas of manufacturing and the preventative maintenance of sheet metal and machining equipment.
  • Experience in plumbing, air compressors, water lines, pneumatic systems, and electrical.
  • Must be able and willing to climb up and down ladders, including eight (8) feet to twenty (20) foot extension ladders.
  • Experience servicing computer and phone lines desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office Outlook/Word/Excel.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent at problem-solving, taking initiative, and being very resourceful.
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds or more and participate in activities that include bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, working on ladders, and scrubbing.
