About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned Usability Researcher to join our Security product team, with a special focus on Security Copilot-a platform integrated across our suite of security tools. This role is pivotal in driving UX research that ensures coherence, usability, and innovation across our products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, content design, technical writing, RPMs, and engineering to shape the future of security experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX research initiatives across the Security product suite, with emphasis on Security Copilot.
- Scope, plan, and execute research studies that validate design patterns and inform product decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to define research goals and align on study methodologies.
- Apply a wide range of research techniques-generative and evaluative-to support product development throughout the lifecycle.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover actionable insights.
- Communicate findings through compelling reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Influence product roadmaps and design strategies through evidence-based recommendations.
- Foster a culture of research excellence and collaboration across the team.
- Drive Copilot coherence by validating design patterns across integrated tooling.
- Conduct iterative studies to support ongoing enhancements to Security Copilot.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure research is embedded in every stage of product development.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Human-Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE), or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UX research and design, with a strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Proven ability to create and execute research plans that drive measurable impact.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in the security and compliance industry or AI technologies is a strong plus.
- Deep curiosity about user behavior and a passion for improving complex systems.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through research.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of building trusted partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for storytelling with data.
