CRI Advantage, a ServiceNow Consulting and Implementation Partner of the Year awardee, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a remote, full-time role within our NowAdvantage team. This team specializes in the ongoing support and enhancement of existing ServiceNow implementations and managed services. This team is pivotal in ensuring the sustained operational excellence of a variety of our client's platforms, providing customized enhancement services, guiding with strategic advice, and developing new integrations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sustaining and enriching the customer relationships forged by our implementation team. As the lead developer on the NowAdvantage team, collaboration with the Program Analyst is essential to guarantee that the ServiceNow environment of our clients not only evolves but also remains in strict alignment with the strategic goals of their programs focusing on continuous improvement and optimizing the platform's value and effectiveness. This position requires proactive engagement in customer meetings and a desire to learn and focus on the client's objectives. This is a Full-Time position that requires ship and the ability to work flexible hours within US time-zones.

 

Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with the CRI's Services Director, the NowAdvantage Program Analyst and other technical resources to:

  • Provide ongoing platform support for existing ServiceNow implementations, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with industry best practices post- implementation.
  • Identify potential development projects within ServiceNow platform to fulfill unique business requirements and improve user experience.
  • Offer advisory services, guiding stakeholders through strategic planning, best practices, and optimization efforts to maximize the platform's value and efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate platform upgrades, patches, and technical enhancements, ensuring they are executed smoothly and align with organizational goals.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, providing high-level technical support and solutions to maintain service continuity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating the platform's performance and functionality to recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, development standards, and training materials to support platform knowledge and sustainability.
  • Work closely with a team of developers and IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing expertise to enhance the collective capabilities in ServiceNow.
  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops with customers and document project functional and non-functional requirements and/or User Stories.
  • Develop custom items, features, and workflows to satisfy business need.
  • Design and develop queries, widgets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Build out custom and unique flows using Flow Designer in ServiceNow to allow for 3rd party integrations and/or tasks to function in accordance with Client requirements.
  • Collaborate with CRI's Sales team and other co-workers to develop accounts, including presenting ServiceNow and CRI capabilities.
  • Assist in assessing opportunities for fit with ServiceNow products and recommending solutions.
  • Develop demo instances highlighting CRI's ability to address customer requirements.

 

Required Work Experience:

  • 3 - 7 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and customer service mentality.
  • Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including implementation and
  • configuration of the core ServiceNow applications.
  • Experience administering a ServiceNow instance, including users, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, service portal, widgets, and catalog items
  • Possess a good understanding of ITIL process framework.
  • Knowledge of Scrum/agile development principles.
  • Skills to effectively analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients, and public.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
  • ITSM product suite, CSM product suite, ITBM product suite, ITOM product suite, HRSD product suite, Security Operations product suite
  • Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow is desired.
  • Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, Bootstrap, AngularJS and JSON), System and Process Automation is desired.

As a CRI ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on all new ServiceNow products, associated end-user product integrations and have the ability to obtain additional ServiceNow product certifications as required.

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

ServiceNow Certifications Required or Preferred:

Current Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, CSM, HRSD required. Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or ITIL IV Certification highly desired.
