Job Details

Position: Snowflake Data Engineer with AWS Experience

Location: Hybrid position at Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and data integrations using Snowflake on AWS.
  • Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT workflows to process large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Manage data security, access controls, and performance tuning within the Snowflake environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support for existing data workflows.
  • Document technical designs, data models, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including schema design, performance tuning, and data sharing.
  • Solid experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, and other related tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL development and query optimization.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud-based tools and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
