Job Summary:

Dollar General is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Technical Program Manager to lead and oversee large-scale Oracle ERP implementations and enhancements.

This individual will play a critical role in driving strategic technology initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of Oracle ERP projects with a focus on finance, supply chain, and procurement modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP technical programs across multiple business functions ( Finance, SCM, Procurement, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business teams, and external partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with Oracle ERP best practices.
  • Drive solution architecture discussions and provide guidance on Oracle ERP technical integrations, customizations, and extensions.
  • Manage program timelines, budgets, risks, and resources using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles with IT and functional stakeholders.
  • Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and audit readiness across all Oracle ERP components.
  • Mentor technical team members and support resource planning for ERP initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBS or Cloud) with at least 3+ years in a technical program or project management role.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules including Finance (GL, AP, AR), SCM, and Procurement.
  • Proven experience managing complex ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Hands-on background in Oracle technologies: PL/SQL, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or similar.
  • Proficient with program/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments; retail industry experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion).
  • Familiarity with retail business processes or prior experience with Dollar General or similar organizations.
  • Working knowledge of data migration tools and middleware (e.g., Oracle OIC, MuleSoft).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
