The Team
With a plethora of technologies running on a multitude of platforms across traditional datacentres to cloud-native you will be exposed to it all. You will be part of a specialist team responsible for guiding and supporting the technology functions to deliver critical strategic initiatives, programs, and large projects across the division, working with software development and shared infrastructure teams. Additionally, you will be required to assist with major incidents as and when they occur demonstrating your incident management skills and divisional knowledge.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Within the S&P Global Market Intelligence organization, this position gives the individual an opportunity to be a driving force behind some of the major programs and projects within the division. You will have exposure to key technologies and senior stakeholders across the business and technology functions and a chance to be part of a growing function within MI and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives across MI Technology and the MI division.

Responsibilities
Technical understanding of MI's products and technology teams to enable you to be the go-to individual for detailed knowledge of the products and technologies within MI. With this information, you will help drive software lifecycle management (os, middleware, and application), vulnerability management across the entire stack, deployment of mandatory and required security tools along with validating and improving the hygiene of our central CMDB. When required represent the MI products on major incident calls managed within the division and also at the wider corporate level.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $103,800 to $206,350. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What are we looking for: Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years experience in an ITSM or infrastructure-related roles
Excellent spoken and written communication skills and the ability to work/communicate with global stakeholders is essential
Be able to simultaneously engage a variety of individuals, building strong relationships and encouraging robust discussions.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing, and mitigating issues, leading projects across various technologies, and identifying and escalating risks and issues when required
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Have an appreciation of technical infrastructure from traditional 3 tier architecture to cloud native.
