Description:

The Worker(s) will provide the following services:

Perform advanced automated systems development work in support of Applications Solutions systems. Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving software, data, hardware and reporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients. Develop and test Java Applications that meet design specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements. Document current processes, review written specification additions/modifications and create test cases for submitted defects involving new and modified program policies. Analyze, design, and develop logical, structured programs and systems appropriate to customer needs which are well-documented programs and that may be maintained by others. Ensure adherence to program documentation and procedural standards, and management goals and objectives. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.

Required Skills:

8 Years of Java

8 Years of JSP/HTML/CSS/Javascript/Bootstrap 2.0

8 Years of Experience in SQL, DDL, DML, Stored Procedures

8 Years of Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch

8 Years of Knowledge of Web API Development, including SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON, REST preferred

8 Years of Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and technology

8 Years of MS Azure Cloud technologies Java on Azure, Azure SQL Server, JBOSS EAP on Azure

8 Years of Working knowledge of scripting and batch processing in legacy and current technology

8 Years of Experience with building WCAG compliant web applications

8 Years of Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design

8 Years of Ability to accurately test software applications using a data driven development approach

8 Years of Skill in solving problems; in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and in troubleshooting computer software systems

Preferred Skills:

3 Years of Experience using GitHub in DevOps Cloud Environment

3 Years of Strong written and verbal communication skills to document relevant issues clearly and accurately, and prepare accurate, concise, reliable reports

3 Years of SDLC tools Visio, Miro, ERWIN, Jira, Confluence, and ALM Octane

3 Years of Other programming languages: .Net, C#, Appian

3 Years of Experience with integrating web services across cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and PaaS environments

3 Years of Experience with automating identity management services to include user authentication and authorization using an authentication framework, using Azure, Okta, LDAP, Entra

3 Years of Texas Workforce Commission experience
