Azure DevOps Engineer

I am working with a confidential client known for delivering modern tech solutions to support high-impact digital transformation projects across both public and private sectors. They're actively looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support their infrastructure and pipeline modernization initiatives.

Details:

• 1 year Contract with scope to renew yearly


• Pay Rate: $60 - $80 per hour


• Harrisburg, PA (Remote - Occasional onsite required monthly)

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps


• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform for scalable and repeatable deployments


• Manage and optimize a variety of Azure services such as App Services, VNets, Storage Accounts, AKS/Kubernetes, and Key Vaults


• Script and automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python


• Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience focused on Microsoft Azure environments


• 5+ years of experience with Terraform


• 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps


• 5+ years of experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python


• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes


• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments


• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good to Haves:

• Relevant Azure certifications


• Background in Computer Science or similar field (or equivalent experience)


• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
