Role: SAP Project Manager
Need local to Bay Area
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead strategic SAP initiatives across multiple business areas. He will be accountable for project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives, IT governance, and global compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP projects (S/4HANA, BTP, and related modules).
- Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with functional leads (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, QM, WM, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
- Act as primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
- Drive change management, training, and user adoption.
- Monitor KPIs and provide executive-level project updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, or Engineering; MBA or PMP preferred.
- 8+ years of IT project management experience, including 5+ years managing SAP projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA core modules (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, etc.).
- Proven success with full-cycle SAP implementations or major upgrades.
- Experience with SAP BTP, cloud, and integrations highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
