There will be a large UI component of the future project

Not just building a UI but also understanding UX ... looking for a commercial application building experience with longevity in mind.

 

For this role, our Client looks for a strong developer who can deploy an environment, create a general design, and know best practices in this area.

Responsibilities:

Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects.

Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff and peers to understand requirements.

Develop solutions that are in line with client's technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.

Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Provide end-user support to ensure minimal disruption to portfolio management and trading activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Skills Description:

University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Strong experience with Angular, HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript

Excellent communication with experience working with direct users to collect/discuss complex business requirements

A solid understanding of UX and Architecture thinking

Real experience building commercial applications with good maintainability

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Financial domain experience

Private Markets knowledge

Ability to explain trade flow
