Devsecop Automation Engineer

Location: Reston, VA (5 Days Onsite)

• 8 + years of experience as a DevSecOps Automation Engineer with established experience with multiple security tools and CI/CD automation tools
• Automation experience with any of DevSecOps tools: Veracode, Checkmarx, OWASP ZAP, Twist lock, Aquasec, Synk, Sonar, Fortinet etc.,
• Good experience in the following DevOps tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Nexus
• Excellent in automated detection and remediation of vulnerabilities and their packages
• Excellent automation experience with Container Security in a cloud environment
• Development of API's, plugins for DevSecOps automation & Integrations
• Good experience in any of the following scripting/programming languages: Python, Go, Java etc.,
• Good at implementing security rules automation in AWS
• Automate the cybersecurity software engineering practices such as unit testing, code reviews, full build testing, quality engineering practices, and requirements capturing techniques to the teams to improve end-to-end secure delivery practices.
• Partner with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules. Troubleshoot automation issues and when required, engage the resources to find practical solutions that move projects forward in a timely manner.
• Assist application teams with onboarding to the adopted security tools/technologies; working with vendors to troubleshoot the platform and issues related to such integrations.
• Experience with standards and compliance (HIPAA, ISO-27002, PCI, NIST), CIS etc.
