About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Credit Risk and Integrated Data Management & Reporting (CRDR) team within Enterprise Functions Technology. This role is part of a strategic initiative to modernize and centralize the credit risk regulatory reporting platform, enabling scalable, cloud-ready solutions for critical data processing and compliance needs.
You will lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions that support regulatory reporting and data transformation efforts. This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor team members, and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to moderately complex software engineering initiatives within the credit risk domain.
- Participate in strategic planning and execution of large-scale technology solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges, ensuring solutions align with compliance and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, analysts, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or equivalent (education, military, training).
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, C#.
- 2+ years of experience developing applications in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, and strong knowledge of ETL procedures, SQL queries, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices and microservices design.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software patterns, and refactoring techniques.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Ability to optimize and refactor legacy code for performance and maintainability.
- Experience integrating disparate systems and data sources.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Team Foundation Server.
