Job Title: IT Systems Automation & Endpoint Solutions Specialist (Hybrid - San Marcos, Texas)

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation and endpoint solutions to improve the efficiency, security, and performance of enterprise technology systems. The role involves scripting, systems integration, device management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure technology supports business operations at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline core business and technical processes.
  • Create integration workflows between critical software platforms to support evolving business needs.
  • Design and manage user endpoint solutions across corporate and distributed environments.
  • Maintain system images, software inventories, and deployment configurations to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Support enterprise identity and access systems, including permission policies, object structures, and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of technical standards related to systems configuration, policy management, and automation.
  • Provide tools and documentation to support remote and in-person device lifecycle management.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and support teams to identify and remediate potential risks or inefficiencies.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and assist with technical escalations as needed.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and change logs for internal use.
  • Use internal ticketing systems to manage workload, respond to issues, and maintain service levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to utilize strong multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills necessary for managing multiple systems issues and projects at one time in a professional manner, both under minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Minimum 2 years system automation/configuration scripting and PowerShell with knowledge of other programming languages (VB/VBS, C#, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory & Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
  • Ability to utilize a strong, working knowledge of PC and server hardware, Windows and AIX Operating Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
