Axiom Technical Lead

About the Opportunity: A financial services company is actively seeking a new Axiom Technical Lead to join their team on a full-time basis.

Work Arrangement: Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (if outside of this region, open to remote options)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and update system configurations within the regulatory reporting application (Axiom/Adenza) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements


• Identify, diagnose, and resolve configuration-related issues within the application, working closely with LOB teams and Axiom Vendor support as necessary


• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, including change logs, setup procedures, and user guides


• Work with the Regulatory Reporting team, internal EDA and EDO teams, and other stakeholders to gather new or updated requirements, understand configuration needs, and ensure system changes meet business and regulatory requirements for process improvements and enhancements


• Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards, and complete required compliance trainings to upgrade skillsets based on changing regulatory requirements


• Assist in summarizing and communicating issues identified by the regulatory reporting team, provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders and management, and communicate with regulatory reporting team members, senior management, and relevant department heads to present findings and propose solutions


• Provide a mix of onshore and offshore support with sufficient overlap


• Report development exposure and experience in Axiom

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in managing system configurations, implementing changes, and troubleshooting application issues


• 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting or related fields with a basic understanding of regulations


• Direct experience with configuration and maintenance of Axiom XL, with strong expertise in Controller View for solutions related to Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Last Mile Reports, Call Report, and Y9C Report


• Strong understanding of implementation of Axiom along with data integrations


• Proficient in configuring and maintaining regulatory reporting applications, including system settings and user configurations


• Strong technical skills in understanding and managing application data integration points


• Competent in creating and maintaining detailed documentation for application configurations, change logs, and user guides
