Job Details
We are seeking a seasoned and data-driven Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to lead key initiatives in Marketing Content Analytics and Operational Performance Analytics. The role will focus on systems and data across the content lifecycle from creation and approval to publishing and distribution.
You ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable business intelligence (dashboards, reports, portals), optimize marketing performance, and improve digital content effectiveness. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, deep domain expertise in marketing and content operations, and the ability to bridge business goals with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Act as the key liaison between Marketing, Digital Operations, and Technology teams.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to uncover business needs.
- Translate findings into detailed requirements: user stories, process flows, use cases, and data specs.
- Resolve ambiguities and ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
- Data & Analytics Solution Design
- Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and architects to design scalable data models and reporting pipelines.
- Define metrics, data sources, transformation rules, and KPIs to support marketing and content performance tracking.
- Guide the design of dashboards and analytics tools that are user-centric and insights-driven.
- Domain Strategy & Impact
- Apply deep knowledge in digital marketing (CRM, campaign tracking, attribution, etc.) and content lifecycle (DAM, CMS, UX performance).
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for improved ROI, content optimization, and customer journey insights.
- Testing & Validation
- Create test plans and lead UAT to ensure accurate data delivery and report integrity.
- Work with QA and data teams to validate transformations and outputs.
- Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
- Maintain strong collaboration across Marketing, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Present insights, roadmaps, and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage expectations around deliverables, timelines, and outcomes.
- Documentation & Enablement
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation including data dictionaries, requirements, process maps, and training materials.
- Support user onboarding and adoption of new BI tools and reports.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a BSA or Data Analyst with focus on BI, reporting, or analytics.
- 3+ years of direct experience in Marketing and/or Digital Content Management domains.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Express, or Veeva Promomats is a strong plus.
- Agile/Scrum development experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable working with both business and technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Understanding of data governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of statistical methods or predictive modeling is a plus
