Job Details

Location: Chrolette, NC

We re looking for a seasoned engineer to architect and operate hybrid AWS networks, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines at scale. You ll own end-to-end connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS, build and run EKS clusters with Docker-based workloads, and automate software delivery and Observability.

  • Hybrid Networking & Security:

    • Design, implement, and maintain AWS networking components (VPC peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN) for multi-account, multi-region environments

    • Configure routing, security groups, NACLs, and AWS RAM sharing to enforce isolation and compliance

    • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, latency, and BGP route propagation with on-prem firewalls and routers

  • Container Platforms:

    • Architect, deploy, and scale Amazon EKS clusters using best practices (node groups, auto scaling, CNI)

    • Build and optimize Docker images, manage multi-stage builds, and enforce image-signing policies

    • Implement blue/green or canary deployment strategies via Kubernetes tools and GitOps
