Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help uncover actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions-Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and Treasury-to analyze data, create impactful visualizations, and guide business decisions.

About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help uncover actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions-Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and Treasury-to analyze data, create impactful visualizations, and guide business decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Understand business needs and frame analyses that address the true questions of the organization.
- Use SQL, Python, and/or R to extract, manipulate, and organize data for analysis.
- Apply creative problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills, including statistical methods, to uncover insights.
- Assess the quantitative and qualitative impact of potential actions on customers, employees, and the company.
- Present actionable insights through PowerPoint presentations, Tableau dashboards, and clear verbal and written communications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to implement recommendations and measure outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across Toyota departments and business areas.
- Continuously improve analytical, technical, and communication skills through training and on-the-job experience.
- Become a subject matter expert in your business area, understanding its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
- Guide and mentor other analysts in analysis best practices and data storytelling.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a similar analytical/STEM field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a data analyst (not data engineering).
- Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, and/or R (to be tested during interviews).
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
- Ability to create interactive dashboards and deliver meaningful data insights.
- Solid understanding of basic statistics.
- Strong problem-solving, data acquisition, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Ability to present strategic recommendations to management and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and an analytical mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with stakeholders.
- MBA or Master's degree in an analytical field.
- Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries.
- Professional experience in one or more areas within the Analytics Job Family.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistics.
