QA Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Long Island City, NY that is seeking a skilled QA professional with strong experience in both manual and automated testing. This role involves designing and executing test strategies across multiple releases to ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform functional, regression, and API testing
* Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Mabl, Eggplant, Selenium, Playwright, and Postman
* Analyze test coverage and provide efficiency metrics
* Create and manage QA documentation including test plans, scripts, traceability matrices, and summary reports
* Lead QA efforts from planning through deployment in Agile and Waterfall environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Java and JavaScript for automation framework development
* Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
* Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
* Airline industry experience is required
* Familiarity with Sabre Interact (PNR creation/modification)
* Experience with digital booking flows, GDS bookings, and loyalty/points redemption is a plus
* Testing Mix: 60% manual/40% automation, with flexibility to increase automation coverage as needed

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
