Position Summary

The .NET Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures. This role works closely with engineering leadership, product stakeholders, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The architect sets development standards, drives modernization initiatives, and ensures alignment with enterprise architecture and best engineering practices.

Core Technical Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core
  • Strong expertise in application architecture and system design
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase
  • Extensive experience designing distributed systems, SOA, RESTful APIs, and microservices
  • Deep understanding of web technologies (HTTP, web servers, proxies)
  • Experience with multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practice
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end application architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and coding guidelines
  • Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews with cross-functional teams
  • Guide development teams on best practices for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools
  • Design and govern microservices-based and distributed architectures
  • Oversee implementation of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps strategies
  • Ensure secure design and proper handling of sensitive and confidential dat
  • Support Agile delivery through technical leadership, estimation, and plannin
  • Identify technical risks and drive mitigation strategies
  • Lead or support innovation, research, and proof-of-concept initiatives
