Job Description:

MUST HAVES:

  • Strong data governance exp/background especially working with OPERATIONAL data
  • Someone who can dig into insights and understand/ask What drives towards a process improvement perspective- "ok data looks this way, now I need to work with team to understand why data looks this way and train people on why data needs to look better".
  • Strong need for someone to understand how an incident is typically run, what the data aspect of it needs to be corrected so people can respond to incident in a timely manner
  • Be able to dig into data and understand it, make analysis

Don t worry about ITIL

If they don t have ServiceNow, but have another ticketing program like Salesforce that s fine

Agile/CMMI/Lean Six Sigma certs a BIG PLUS

Overview:

  • Focus on process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and ITIL knowledge (not an ITIL shop but uses elements from it).
  • Understanding of data governance and integrity is crucial.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable for operational data management (incidents, change management, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze data and improve processes based on findings is key.
  • Training team members on improved processes is part of the role.

Team Structure:

  • Part of a 12-person process engineering and improvement team.
  • Collaborates with analytics, ServiceNow team, and operations (hundreds of people).

Contract Terms:

  • Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension due to ongoing data integrity issues.

Skills & Experience:

  • Industrial engineering, quality assurance, or similar background.
  • Quantifiable achievements in process improvement.
  • Data analysis and integrity experience.
  • Certifications like Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, and Agile are beneficial.

Key Attributes for Candidates:

  • Ability to develop new processes and improve existing ones.
  • Strong operational knowledge.
  • Quick learners, especially for ServiceNow, if not already experienced.
