Overview:
iSphere, a trusted name in IT consulting and technology staffing, is seeking a Full-Stack React.js Developer with Java expertise for a key onsite role in Austin, TX. This is an exciting 3+ month contract opportunity where you'll be instrumental in architecting and developing high-impact applications from the ground up using React.js on the front end and Java/Spring Boot on the back end.

You ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to every phase of the software development lifecycle, and influence technical direction with your experience in enterprise and cloud-based environments.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Design and build full-stack web applications using React.js, Java, and Spring Boot

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective software solutions

• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to refine system flows and data usage

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

• Produce well-documented, scalable, and secure code

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers

• Participate in agile ceremonies and promote best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and modern architectures

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of Java/J2EE enterprise development (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, etc.)

• 8+ years of experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development

• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)

• Expertise in developing REST APIs and microservices architectures

• Solid understanding of enterprise design patterns and system architecture

• Skilled in creating both technical and functional documentation

• Proven background as a Full-Stack Developer, with strong UI and backend experience

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with AWS or Azure

• Agile development experience

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized app deployments

• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines

• Understanding of SSR or SSG using React

• Exposure to GraphQL, Cosmos DB, and Elasticsearch

• Knowledge of web security best practices
