PeopleSoft HCM Manager

Location: Oceanfront, NJ - hybrid

Duration: Permanent

Summary

Our healthcare client is looking for a PeopleSoft HCM Manager who is a subject matter expert in PeopleSoft HCM upgrades.

Job Overview

The primary role of PeopleSoft HCM Manager systems is to manage functional and technical resources who are in turn responsible in the implementations of new affiliates, product support, production support and upgrades or new releases relative to HR and Payroll applications.

Essential Functions
  • Communicates and interacts effectively with all IT and Business department personnel.
  • Coordinates and manages activities of IT resources projects and production support.
  • Prioritizes activities and coordinates team tasks according to project schedule.
  • Informs management of projects status, problems and projections, while completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with project plan.
  • Takes ownership of managing incidents and initiatives affecting sites IT environment.
  • Coordinate IT projects, researching and evaluating software and other related technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contributes to a positive working environment by building relationships and mentoring all team members, supporting them reach their goals; Seeks guidance, clarification and feedback proactively; and Provides guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff.
  • Performs any other functions within as demanded by management.


Qualifications
  • Must have 5 or more years of experience managing direct reports that support Peoplesoft HR and/or Payroll related applications.
  • Understanding of integration with other dependent systems.
  • Must have proven record to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Must have a good record of being a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to accept customer needs to reprioritize projects or tasks.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Strong background in SQL and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Working experience in Cloud ERP applications like Workday and Oracle is a big plus.
  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Business Administration, or associated area is required.
