Job Summary

SVT Project, Single Version of Truth

Primarily used by Business Information. Once we have good enough data, we will have super Users . Will extract data and create their own reports.

• We have stood up the core Alation tool and are currently setting this up to be used by the BI team, and later by other departments. Toll set-up includes integration with our reporting platform, like Snowflake database, Power BI reporting, and MicroStrategy reporting. We want to hire an Alation consultant to do the following.

Responsibilities:-

• Alation
• Implementation Expertise:
• Deploy Alation in an enterprise setting, configuring metadata models, lineage capture, user roles, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
• Server Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain Alation s server components, including backups, upgrades, performance tuning, and security controls.
• Metrics Catalog Management:
• Build and maintain an enterprise metrics catalog within Alation to ensure consistent, trusted business definitions
• PII and Data Quality Integration:
• Enforce PII policies and data quality rules effectively within Alation
• Sampling
• Lineage
• Tagging

Must have:

• Working Primarily in Alation:
• Not a user or super user. They need to be technical and understand how the integrations work
• Need to Know settings in Alation
• Parameters that can be set, integration with other systems:
• Snowflake, PowerBI, MicroStrategy
