Job Description:
Product Manager (Pittsburgh or Fully Remote Candidates)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Product Manager will work with a diverse set of stakeholders to enhance our digital experience. The ideal candidate is a
strategic thinker, results-oriented, and an excellent communicator. This individual should have a deep understanding of the product as well
as our customers' needs and the competitive landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with Product Management to assist in developing and executing the vision of the product roadmap
Serves as the "voice of the customer" with the technical teams, representing and reinforcing the customers perspective
Break down large initiatives and product vision into appropriately sized components, from quarter-over-quarter big picture concepts
to user stories
Assess value and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with
product strategy and roadmap
Develop detailed requirements and feature definitions
Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements
Engage business stakeholders throughout the execution of a project, ensuring that what is delivered meets the business's goals and
objectives
Communicate effectively between both business roles (i.e. marketing) and technical development during the lifecycle of product
development
Derive product insights through stakeholder interactions and other market data
Work with product team and key technology stakeholders on development, testing and implementation plans, as well as internal
communications and deployment plans
Proactively identify issues and work with internal partners to understand options and execute solutions
Define metrics of success and analyze results
Blend strong business acumen, technical problem solving and agile execution
Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, MIS, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years related experience in digital
1-2 years experience as an Associate Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
Domain expertise in Digital-Retail is preferred
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), &
planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of ideation, execution, or delivery
Ability to work with and influence peers and business partners
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Experience with agile development
Data driven mindset and track record
