- Serve customers as a key point of operational contact.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure prompt and complete customer service.
- Form productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community.
- Customize presentations to the interests of the audience.
- Conduct diagnosis of complex business problems.
- Design, direct and perform analyses to resolve complex first-time project issues including analysis of technical and economic feasibility of proposed system solutions.
- Lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs.
- Participate in the design of technical requirements for the application/solution.
- Serve as a staff resource and mentor regarding understanding of architectural systems.
- Provides technical and professional leadership to Major Incident Bridge calls during Imaging application outages
- Communicates with market leadership regarding root cause analysis of application outages and proactive steps being taken to prevent future outages
- Acts as primary escalation point for Imaging application operational issues
- Oversee transition to support calls and documentation from implementation and project teams, ensuring support teams are prepared to take ownership of supporting new and upgraded applications
- Recommends technology improvement opportunities to the leadership and architecture teams for increasing IT value while decreasing cost of delivery
- Instills a sense of urgency in driving assignments to completion; escalates issues as needed with MSPs, vendors, internal IT teams and senior leadership
Clinical Imaging Operations:
Minimum 10+ years of Imaging Application (Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, Post processing, Mammo, Maternal/Fetal Medicine) experience
- Has a SME level of knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments that support the Clinical Imaging Space: Merge PACS/Cardio & Change PACS/CPACS
- Provides expertise, or leads, in the evaluation, engineering/design and analysis for imaging technologies and solutions to address corporate business requirements pursuant to the service area imaging systems (PACS, Voice Recognition, etc).
- Has a deep awareness and understanding of emerging trends and technologies in Healthcare IT and is considered an imaging systems functional and technical expert.
- Strong understanding of best-in-class and emerging technologies for responsible service area
- Reviews internal documentation to be utilized by the team
- Reviews external documentation to be utilized by clinical associates
- Generate any ad-hoc reporting as required
- Works to mentor other associates on the team
- Leads system & hardware upgrades
- Serve as subject matter expert & escalation point for multiple applications
- Able to collaborate with both internal & external resource partners
- Recognized & functions as a leader to the team
Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
