Job Details
- working with software development teams to ensure the security and responsible use of AI applications by providing automation guidance at various stages of planning and implementing security design, processes and solutions, and, testing and validation.
- The resource will have significant interaction with NYC Cyber Command leadership, its engineering, architecture, and application security teams, incident response and other cyber security practitioners.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to leverage REST API?s to build tool and platform integration.
- Proficient in git version control and git life-cycle development.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security and Python development.
- Demonstrated ability to write test scripts, automate test cases, and analyze test results using programming languages and testing frameworks.
- Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, methods, processes, frameworks/platforms, and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences.
- Ability to stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and best practices in both software testing and artificial intelligence.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an everchanging environment.
- Understanding of public cloud platforms and experience with utilizing platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience working in a security environment and/or supporting security teams from a technical standpoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Highly flexible/willing to learn new technologies.
