A recognized hospitality organization in Florida is actively seeking a new Mobile Architect to lead the design and development of in-house mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile architectures using Ionic and Capacitor for hybrid applications
Develop solutions that integrate with hospitality systems such as booking engines, property management systems (PMS), loyalty programs, and guest engagement platforms
Architect and implement robust push notification strategies for guest communication, promotions, and operational alerts across iOS and Android platforms
Ensure all mobile applications meet Google Play Store and Apple App Store guidelines, including security, privacy, and performance standards
Guide development teams on best practices, performance optimization, and integration with native device capabilities
Ensure consistent functionality and user experience across iOS and Android platforms
Implement APIs for seamless connectivity with backend systems and third-party services
Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and IT teams to align mobile solutions with business goals
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Mobile Application Development
Experience in an Architect and/or Technical Lead role
Deep hands-on experience with Ionic and Capacitor frameworks
Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, and hybrid app development
Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts
Proven experience implementing push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Apple Push Notification Service (APNs), or similar platforms
Demonstrated ability to meet Google Play and Apple App Store compliance requirements.
Solid understanding of hospitality technology ecosystems (PMS, CRM, booking systems)
Desired Skills:
Experience with Cordova and migration strategies to Capacitor
Knowledge of Mobile Security best practices and Performance Tuning
Exposure to Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and API integration
Familiarity with hospitality-specific integrations like HotSOS, Sabre, or similar systems
