Job Title: Server and Storage Analyst
Location: St. Louis, MO
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Server and Storage Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for managing and supporting our on-premises and hosted server, storage, VMware, and Active Directory environments. This is a technical, hands-on role that plays a critical part in maintaining enterprise system performance, availability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and provide operational support for:
- Active Directory
- Windows Server infrastructure
- Enterprise storage systems
- VMware environments
- Work closely with the hosting provider to manage the server environment effectively.
- Establish and enforce account management policies including user accounts, groups, and distribution lists.
- Maintain access controls, ensuring data and system security.
- Manage software licenses and hardware purchases related to server and storage technologies.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and patch management activities.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and recovery operations are effective and current.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for system scoping and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to root cause across platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Systems/Infrastructure roles.
- Solid expertise in:
- Windows Server OS
- Office 365 administration
- Active Directory
- Storage Management
- Virtualization (VMware)
- Data security and disaster recovery
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, CompTIA Server+).
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration from an infrastructure perspective.
- Knowledge of vendor management best practices.
- Experience collaborating across application, infrastructure, and business teams.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
