Salary: Up to $115,000/yr. (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality requirements, and cost drivers.
- Define manufacturing processes for components and assemblies.
- Determine and design or procure required fixtures and gages.
- Create manufacturing process routes and bills of material in ERP systems.
- Review Engineering Change Orders and update process documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality control, supervisors, and operators to improve productivity and quality.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC machining, work holding, and machining principles.
- Knowledge of general machine shop practices and measuring techniques.
- CAD/solid modeling expertise with familiarity in design and dimensioning standards.
- ERP/MRP software proficiency and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work creatively and independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
