We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Architect to join our onsite technology team, supporting a leading Investment Banking client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow modules to support CSM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom workflows aligned with complex financial services environments.
You will work closely with global stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that automate operational workflows, support regulatory compliance, and improve service delivery in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll do in this role
Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design and implementation of ServiceNow modules including CSM, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and others as required.
Act as the technical leader for all ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
Design, develop, and maintain applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform
Define and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and governance for ServiceNow platform usage.
Translate business requirements into technical design using platform best practices.
Lead a team of developers and admins to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Manage and review development activities, ensuring code quality and performance standards.
Oversee upgrade planning and execution to ensure platform stability and feature adoption.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution design documents.
Implement modules including CSM,ITSM, Service Catalog, CMDB, Incident/Change/Problem, and Knowledge Management.
Guide development on Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
Oversee and ensure high-performance support for deployed microservices, including AI/ML, foundational, and integration services.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using IntegrationHub and custom APIs.
Track technical deliverables, maintain sprint velocity, and manage development sprints.
Coordinate with ServiceNow Architects and Product Owners to align on roadmap and platform strategy.
Troubleshoot platform issues and lead root cause analysis for major incidents.
Ensure security configurations and data integrity across the platform.
Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades and patching, ensuring compatibility and functionality
Optimize performance, implement security controls, and ensure platform compliance with banking standards
Provide production support, bug fixes, and continuous enhancements
Follow Agile methodology and deliver high-quality code with proper documentation
Your skills and experience
12+years of IT experience, with 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development
Proven experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across CSM, ITSM and at least one of: ITOM, HRSD.
Solid understanding of JavaScript, GlideRecord, and Scripted APIs in ServiceNow.
Familiar with Agile/DevOps methodologies and managing ServiceNow in sprint-based delivery.
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and platform governance practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership abilities.
Development and configuration of Workflows, UI Pages (Jelly and Glide scripts), UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, Ajax Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes and Security Rules.
Good understanding of Investment Banking operations, support workflows, and regulatory environments
Experience with Performance Analytics, Reporting, and ServiceNow Best Practices
Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with Investment Banking operations, such as workflow automation, client onboarding, or compliance
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently and in teams
Day-to-day reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field, preferred
Experience with Scoped Applications, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow App Engine
Exposure to GRC, Security Operations, or HRSD modules is a plus
Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices
Exposure to financial compliance or trade lifecycle processes is a plus
