Key Responsibilities
Own and manage enterprise collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Design, configure, and optimize real-time collaboration, voice, video, and sharing technologies.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and reliable platform operations.
Troubleshoot complex platform and network-related issues.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline administrative or configuration tasks (e.g., user provisioning, settings updates).
Ensure compliance with Capital One s security, risk management, and governance policies.
Contribute to the design of login flows, access management, and integration solutions with third-party systems.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Skills
5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Unified Communications Engineer, or in a similar technical operations role.
Strong hands-on experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or other real-time collaboration tools.
Working knowledge of network protocols, media streaming, and network performance optimization for collaboration platforms.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices related to communication and collaboration systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple domains (platform, network, security).
Experience working independently in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments, ideally within financial services or Capital One specifically.
Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate platform administration tasks.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Zoom Certified Administrator, Microsoft Teams Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or Security+).
