Position Summary

The PBM is currently looking for an individual to join our Network Analytic and Reporting team overseeing the information needs of Audit, Market Conduct, Performance and other functions as a Manager. This position will act as an important member of the team while managing projects to support strategies, work, and deliverables primarily related to performance but also supporting reconciliation and other efforts dependent upon Network information. This role will work with vendors and cross-functionally with internal business partners contributing a high level of technical skills using SAS, Python, BigQuery, Excel, and other analytic tools to import, export, and manipulate data for analytic and reporting purposes from internal and external sources. This role will be responsible for continuously evaluating, recommending, and coding operational and process improvements.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager, PBM Networks, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Support the Networks division acting as an IT conduit and data support for the development, creation, and execution of Pharmacy Performance analyses and reporting.
  • Code data extraction, report generation, and data Analysis
  • Develop ad hoc report capabilities
  • Lead and manage processes, including timeline development and project management, as it relates to Pharmacy Performance and reconciliation needs
  • Serve as intermediary between data vendors and the PBM Networks division business owners.
  • Assist in the identification, prioritization, and completion of modeling and related deliverables.
  • Preparing and responding questions related to the pharmacy performance program
  • Ensure strong and detailed record-keeping of all deliverables from business processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

In order to be successful in this role you must exhibit the following:
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and writing communication skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting project milestones and deliverables.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management with timely escalation of any high-risk issues to senior management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with solid organizational skills.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years professional work experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management Industry or healthcare industry
  • 3+ years expertise (was subject matter expert ) in the creation and management of large data sets and data analyses
  • 1+ years experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, Teradata SQL Assistant, Reporting Services, SAS, or similar coding experience
  • 1+ years Knowledge of the claims adjudication process

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in clinical operations and claims adjudications
  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving capabilities; recommend solutions, and pull together appropriate stakeholders to find solutions
  • Proactive work ethic, self-starter, independent thinker who can take initiative
  • Excellent skills in basic Office application (Microsoft Office - Word, Power Point)
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Prior experience working in retail pharmacy
  • Master's degree

Education

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
