Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Financial Consultant to provide implementation, enhancement, and support for SAP Financial modules within a public sector environment. The consultant will work as part of a finance team, ensuring the successful operation of SAP ECC modules, including FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), FM (Funds Management), and GM (Grants Management).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for SAP Financial modules (FI, CO, FM, GM).

• Collaborate with end-users in design, configuration, testing, documentation, and implementation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis as needed.

• Support integration with other SAP modules (e.g., CRM, SRM, Logistics) and external systems.

• Assist in financial reporting, including Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) compliance.

• Serve as a lead consultant for SAP Financial module implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance ECC implementation and support.

• 3+ years of experience working with SAP Finance ECC in a Public Sector environment.

• Strong functional knowledge in:

• General Ledger (GL), Funds Management (FM), Controlling (CO), Project Systems (PS), Grants Management (GM).

• Experience in leading SAP Financial module implementations.

• Ability to work with end-users on configuration, testing, and production support.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with SAP integration (CRM, SRM, Logistics).

• Knowledge of Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) processes.

• Strong analytical skills for issue resolution and process improvements.
