Role: MLOps Engineer AWS DevOps

Location: Charlotte, NC

Experience: 12+ Years

 

Job Summary:

The MLOps Engineer AWS DevOps will lead initiatives, focusing on the strategic use of AWS DevOps and Terraform to enhance data management and analysis. This role offers flexibility and collaboration opportunities, with a strong emphasis on leveraging geospatial technologies to support sustainable development and societal impact.

 

Required Skills:

AWS Cloud Engineer

DevOps Specialist

AWS Services (IAM, SageMaker, Step Function, EKS, Lambda, Database, etc.)

Terraform

 

Certifications Required:

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Terraform Associate Certification

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage geospatial projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Implement AWS DevOps practices to streamline geospatial data workflows.

Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and improve scalability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify geospatial data needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and data governance regulations.

Develop strategies to optimize geospatial data usage for better decision-making.

Provide regular project updates to senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment.

Conduct training sessions to upskill team members in AWS DevOps and Terraform.

Evaluate and recommend emerging geospatial technologies.

Promote best practices in geospatial data visualization and communication.

Drive innovation in geospatial applications supporting sustainable development.

Coordinate with IT teams to maintain robust infrastructure for geospatial systems.

Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team environment.

 

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MLOps and DevOps with AWS cloud knowledge, including strong CI/CD and Terraform knowledge. Good exposure in AWS services like (IAM, SageMaker, step function, EKS, Lambda, Database and etc)

IaC and Terraform

Experience of software life cycle, development best practice

GitHub & GitHub actions development

AWS Services (IAM, SageMaker, step function, EKS, Lambda, Database and etc)

Python

Familiar with JIRA, Agile

Build Environments

 

Qualifications:

Proven expertise in AWS DevOps and cloud-based infrastructure.

Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Degree in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Commitment to continuous learning in geospatial technologies.
