Job Title: Sr Salesforce Developer Job ID: 25-09184 Location: Trenton, NJ Duration: 12 months of contract
Note: This is a Hybrid position - 3 Days On-Site, 2 Days Remote - No Exceptions
Sr. level resource with specialized knowledge & experience in app development (req gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & implementation) with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming & Client Server.
Local candidates preferred who do not have to relocate. Please do not submit candidates previously interviewed at Client Dept for other Salesforce requirements.
We need a very technically qualified, independent thinker that can work independently and hit the ground running. Candidate will be expected to work on writing code to create customized solutions (not out of the box).
Under the direction of a supervisor in the Office of Information Technology at the Client Dept, this position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. The candidate will liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field.

Requirements:

Experience:
- (7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.
- Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience
- Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people
- Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions
- Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.
- Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies.
- Develop and code solutions to specification.
- Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a solution
- Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients
- Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies.
- Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution.
- Participate in a self directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.
- Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API STRONGLY PREFERRED.
- Agile development experience
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScript.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $66.00-$70.00 per hour.
