Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead contact providing leadership and assistance for telephony services for ClientDOT and DMV field offices.
- Support and configure telephone equipment, including adding, modifying, and deleting users, installing lines, and moving users.
- Candidateage telephony efforts (moves, adds, changes) in coordination with the Department of Information Technology (DIT).
- XXgn, install, test, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot telephony systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct site surveys and design telephony infrastructure for field locations
- Provide escalation support for telephony issues.
- Assist with computer network field infrastructure when needed.
- Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade telephone infrastructure cabling and equipment.
- Resolve telephony incidents and problems through the Candidatelpdesk system (ServiceNow).
- Provide call reporting and update telephony configurations, including user skill assignments.
- Consult with IT professionals to resolve communication issues and provide management updates.
- Lead projects involving multiple teams, making decisions with some latitude
- Provide project status updates to management.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and operational standards.
- Train users in the field on new phones and features.
- Ensure compliance with security policies (e.g., PCI, HIPAA) and protect data from unauthorized access or misuse.
- Implement IT Security Office requirements related to system and data security.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with telephone infrastructure.
- Ability to manage large-scale telephony projects and collaboXX with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with telephony systems including configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of security policies and standards affecting IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide using personal vehicle (travel is required).
