Job Title: Mainframe Developer with AWS Experience
Location: Peoria, IL (Onsite LC Building)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with AWS exposure to join our team in Peoria, IL. This role involves maintaining and enhancing mainframe applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting modernization initiatives that integrate with modern tools such as Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, and Java applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform hands-on COBOL programming and mainframe application support.
Work closely with team members to support current applications and modernization efforts.
Collaborate with teams managing tools that interface with mainframe applications.
Support scheduling, security, and reporting processes within mainframe systems.

Required Qualifications:

Associate s degree in Computer Programming or equivalent training.
5 7 years of professional mainframe development experience.
Strong knowledge of:
- COBOL on IBM z/OS
- JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS, and CICS
- $AVRS, ACF2 rules, Sequential files (naming schemes), OPC (scheduling).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience in mainframe migration or modernization projects.
Exposure to ServiceNow.
Familiarity with AWS for integration/modernization is a plus.
