ASP.NET Alfresco Developer

  • Location: 100% Remote (US-based candidates only)

Job Description:

The selected candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to manage and enhance the Alfresco digital platform, integrate it with .NET systems, and support ongoing customization and administration. Prior experience working with state or government clients is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build custom solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web API) to extend Alfresco functionality

  • Develop and maintain Alfresco extensions using Alfresco SDK, AMP packaging, and REST APIs

  • Integrate Alfresco with external systems via CMIS, web services, and custom-built connectors

  • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Alfresco environments

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and groups

  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to CI/CD improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with Alfresco platform architecture, customization, and administration

  • 6+ years in Alfresco Share customization and AMP packaging

  • 6+ years of integration experience with .NET-based systems via web services

  • 6+ years using Alfresco SDK, REST APIs, and custom content models

  • 5+ years with .NET Framework / .NET Core

  • 5+ years in Alfresco server setup, configuration, and tuning

  • 5+ years of user/group management and permission configuration

  • 3+ years with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, or Azure DevOps

Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior experience working with Texas Education Agency (TEA)

  • Agile/Scrum project participation

  • Public sector or state agency experience.
