Job Description We are seeking Data Protection Specialist with Ransomware/Cybervault Data protection admin will be responsible for configuring and managing cyber vaults, utilizing PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) skillsets. This role involves assisting with all project tasks required to set up and maintain a robust ransomware solution.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage cyber vaults to ensure data protection and recovery.
Utilize PPDM skillsets to implement and maintain data protection solutions.
Assist in the setup and deployment of ransomware protection solutions.
Monitor and manage backup and recovery processes.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cyber vaults.
Conduct regular audits and tests to ensure the effectiveness of ransomware protection measures.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cyber vault-related issues.
Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to cyber vault management.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity and data protection

Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • Experience in Avamar, Power Protect Data Manager, IBM Spectrum Protect
  • Experience in Administration in Data domain and VTL's
  • Experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
  • Experience in application-level backups like Oracle/SQL/SAP through DD boost (Power Protect)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in handling data restore, backup reporting
  • Experience in automation of backup reporting and configuring reports using server graph and Data Protection advisor
  • At least 2 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process
  • Analytical and Communication skills
  • Planning and Co-ordination skills
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
  • Working Knowledge of:
    • Configuring and managing cyber vaults.
    • Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM).
    • Ransomware protection solutions.
    • Familiarity with backup and recovery processes and tools.
    • Relevant certifications is an added advantage: (CISSP, CISM)
