Job Details
We have a long term role with one of our Premier clients in CT.
This is a 100% on-site position. 100% of all qualified applicants will get a call or email and a pre-screen intv.
Please note, upon selection there is a Drug and Background verification which the confirmed candidate will have to clear.
Experience with JAMF is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the configuration, security, deployment and performance of all Apple devices hardware and software used by the end user both remote and on-site.
- Provide patch management and firmware updates for all Apple devices. Ensure timely distribution and installation of updates to maintain device security, stability, and compatibility.
- Administering Apple operating system installation and application packages using JAMF Cloud MDM solution to enforce security standards, device compliance and data protection.
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of the Mac OS and various Apple endpoints. Provide tier two support for all global apple issues that cannot be solved by tier one support.
- Assist with the development with training and documentation delivering materials to educate the end users on the effective use of Apple productions, including device features, and application tools.
- Assist with Onboarding/Offboarding and IT request ticketing system SLAs.
- Track all issues and resolution through a ticketing system (ITSM) and provide regular feedbacks for improvements.
- Expected to be flexible in a changing environment and willing to take on newer responsibilities.
- Performed other duties as assigned.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Apple Certified (Apple certified Support Professional or Apple Certified Mac Technician)
- 3 + years hands-on experience with Apple products, including Mac OS, iOS, and associated software.
- Experience with MDM solutions (i.e., JAMF, Intune)
- Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), security best practices, and device management solution (Example, JAMF).
- Knowledge of Linux Operating System a plus.
- Be able to work on Mac command line, comfortable in Bash scripting, and PowerShell command.
