Job Title: Business Analyst Wealth & Financial Management
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Analyst to support our Wealth and Financial Management division. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying business needs, improving processes, and ensuring alignment between technology solutions and financial strategies. This is a highly collaborative role that requires financial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of investment and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with wealth management stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for investment platforms, portfolio management tools, and financial planning applications
Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology and data teams
Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and enhanced client experience
Support product owners and project managers in Agile ceremonies and backlog prioritization
Coordinate with QA and UAT teams to validate requirements and support testing efforts
Create business cases, impact assessments, and process flows to support strategic initiatives
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in financial services
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master s preferred)
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in wealth management or financial services
Strong understanding of financial products, portfolio construction, and client advisory workflows
Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio) and data analysis (Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or financial planning tools like eMoney, Orion, or Envestnet
Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting wealth management (e.g., SEC, FINRA)
