Job Description: LeClaire Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our aluminum casting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of automation, electrical engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for aluminum casting processes.
  • Implement and maintain automation systems to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on control systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with aluminum casting processes is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
