Job Summary:

We re seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic web engineering team. In this senior-level role, you ll lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications with a strong emphasis on user experience and modern architecture. You ll help shape our technical direction, integrate best-fit technologies, and ensure our platforms remain efficient, secure, and adaptable. Experience working with e-commerce platforms is essential, as you'll be enhancing and extending features that support our digital commerce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web solutions for Adobe Commerce and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Plan, design and execute software engineering projects from inception through deployment.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and data-driven back-end systems using PHP and MySQL.
  • Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces with modern JavaScript such as React or Alpine.
  • Collaborate with marketers, designers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Integrate with third-party platforms and services, including the ERP system, payment gateways, shipping services, and marketing tools.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues and bugs, providing timely resolutions and proactive improvements.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, technology strategy, and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Independently manage time and priorities to deliver high-quality work within deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Take ownership of challenges, proactively identifying problems and implementing effective solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Support teammates by identifying and resolving technical blockers, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development in an e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript ES6, and Alpine.
  • Deep knowledge of shopping cart flows, customer journey, checkout processes, and catalog management.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, MVC architecture, and object-oriented programming.
  • Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Programming Software Design Patterns.
  • Proven experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
  • Experience with headless commerce architectures and integrating front-end frameworks with commerce back ends.
  • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Result driven mindset with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated accountability and ownership of actions, decisions, and outcomes - both individually and collectively.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
