Apple is looking for a world-class Engineering Program Manager to join join Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering Program Management team for AppleWatch products! We are responsible for leading new innovative display panel and module design & manufacturing process technology development to solve sophisticated design challenges that have a direct impact to future products, quality and delivery of Apple Displays & Touch technology. The individual in this role will serve as a focal point to work with display panel and module engineering team and multi-functional teams in display org such as ME and EE teams. We work at a fast pace environment the individual has to be self-motivated. The successful candidate is a flexible thinker and problem solver with ability to work outside of their respective technical area getting results.

Key Qualifications

Experience as a practicing engineer or program managerExcellent written & verbal communication skills and proven leadership abilityExcellent data handling, documentation, critical milestone creation, and organization skillAble to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to travel internationallyHands-on experience in working in display panel or module processes & its integration in back-end processes of Flat Panel Display & Touch industry or other related industriesSelf-starter with proven track record to lead a project from lab scale development to high volume productionProven failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue.Experience working with global supply chainA working understanding of high volume manufacturing processes

Description

Display EPMs must be fearless organizers and excellent leaders cross-functionally with multiple teams throughout Apple as well as with external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedule and be responsible for managing/presenting status and issues along the way. This position demands technical strengths in many areas, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing.Major responsibilities:Define project plans and schedules. Drive project execution.Lead internal and external multi-functional teams in engineering and validation activitiesEnsure tight inter-team coordination and communicationStrong presentation and communication skills requiredUnderstand and communicate complex, technical/Engineering issuesIdentify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficientlyLead development budgets and engineering builds

Education & Experience

BS + 3 years of relevant experience; MS preferred

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
