Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, four (4) years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement or on a year-for-year basis when applicable..
Certifications:
- · PMP Certification
- · IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certification;
Required Experience:
- · Experience managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams;
- · Experience using project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain projects
- · Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules based on work breakdown structures;
- · Experience with PMO methodologies and documentation;
- · Experience in meeting facilitation and documentation;
- · Experience in creating and presenting internal and external status reports
- · Experience in risk and issue management;
- · Proven track record of completing project deliverables within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost, and quality;
- · Ability to effectively coordinate multiple project teams and meet overall objectives;
- · Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to project managers;
- · Provide effective communication and collaborative skills;
- · Experience in creating presentations and presenting to stakeholders;
- · Experience providing excellent leadership and negotiation skills
Preferred Experience:
- · Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base;
- · Experience managing waterfall projects;
- · Experience with state government projects;
- · Experience managing and reporting projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.;
- · Experience working with technical programming teams;
- · Ability to demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems;
- · Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders;
- · Skills in negotiation, mediation, facilitation, and team building;
- · Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
- · Experience managing vendors and vendor projects
- · Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.;
- · A team player attitude with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic; and
- · Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and organize and prioritize activities.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage resource-loaded and leveled projects;
· Maintain project metrics in accordance with established standards;
· Establish resource performance metrics;
· Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects;
· Serve as a liaison with users;
· Provide hands-on leadership for complex pr Provide project progress reports to internal and external stakeholders as well as executive Leadership
· Manage project spending plans and resources for associated projects
· Maintain all project artifacts in accordance with Program Management Office (PMO) standards and
· other documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with Chapter 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.)
· Lead or assist in business requirement gathering sessions for Joint Application Development (JADs);
· Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software developers to document business
· requirements;
· Coordinate and develop As-Is, To-Be, and other required business analysis documentation;
· Lead and develop the implementation of business process improvement recommendations
