Job Details

  • We are seeking an experienced Sr Network Engineer to join a large, client-facing data center migration initiative focused on transitioning from Cisco to Arista infrastructure. This role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing the migration of DMVPN overlays for dozens of physician clinic locations, ensuring routing and firewall changes are accurately implemented as connections are transitioned to a new colocation facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute DMVPN overlay migrations from existing Cisco environments to Arista-based infrastructure.
  • Coordinate migration activities across dozens of clinic sites, ensuring alignment with the broader data center migration timeline.
  • Implement downstream routing configuration changes required for site cutovers.
  • Coordinate with architecture, operations, and security teams to validate designs, execute migrations, and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues during migration windows to minimize disruption.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, migration plans, and progress tracking for each site.
  • Communicate migration status and risks clearly to both technical and client stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or network operations.
  • Deep understanding of Cisco routing and switching, with strong working knowledge of Arista platforms.
  • Proficiency with DMVPN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare or distributed enterprise environments.
  • Prior experience with data center and colocation transitions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP or Arista ACE.
