Product Design Engineer to support the development of next-generation consumer hardware. This role focuses on taking mechanical designs from early concept through prototyping and into mass production, working closely with cross-functional teams and global manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design for components, subsystems, or full product features

  • Develop and refine prototypes using CAD (Siemens NX), testing, and simulation

  • Collaborate with industrial design, electrical, and manufacturing teams

  • Drive products from concept through production and launch

  • Work with Asia-based suppliers to support manufacturing and quality

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 5+ years of mechanical design experience

  • Proficiency in Siemens NX (3D/2D CAD)

  • Experience with DFM/DFA, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and high-volume manufacturing

  • Knowledge of plastics, metals, elastomers, adhesives, and glass

  • Prototyping, testing, and simulation experience

Preferred

  • 10+ years in consumer electronics product design (handheld or wearable)

  • Experience with cosmetic surfaces and Industrial Design

  • Experience working with Asia-based supply chains

  • Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency

  • Human factors design experience
