Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Developer II in Mountain View, CA.

Duties:
* Helps develop operating software that can be used for robots, artificial intelligence programs or other artificial intelligence applications
* May work closely with electrical engineers or robotics engineers and others in order to produce systems that utilize artificial intelligence; This refers to the capability of adapting or changing based on adding data; It may also mean programming a system to look for or seek out specific conditions and respond based on those factors
* Specialize in developing software for robots and systems
* Can help search engines make conclusions about the information a person is really looking for even if they've made spelling mistakes
* End-to-end development and deployment of AI/ML and genAI solutions across structured and unstructured data, with a focus on customer experience and success use cases
* Build agentic AI systems and LLM-based applications for reasoning, decision-making, and automation of customer support and engagement workflows
* Design and implement NLP pipelines to extract, standardize, and analyze VOC data (e.g., transcripts, surveys, tickets) to drive actionable insights
* Develop data pipelines and features from disparate sources using SQL and Python to support modeling, experimentation, and operationalization at scale
* Build evaluation frameworks for genAI applications, including advanced metrics (e.g., coherence, factuality, helpfulness), human-in-the-loop evaluations, and feedback integration
* Conduct advanced statistical analysis, causal inference, and A/B testing to quantify the impact of AI-driven interventions
* Create and maintain production-ready solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS) with full version control and CI/CD best practices
* Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable AI/ML systems that directly influence customer-facing outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
