How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Design and implement strategic network and monitoring architectures to meet current and future business needs.
  • Provide architectural consulting and leadership to network and monitoring teams across global sites.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for network and monitoring operations.
  • Lead technology evaluations and recommend cost-effective, flexible, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape network and monitoring strategies.
  • Ensure capacity, stability, and performance standards are met across all network services.
  • Manage documentation and mapping of network configurations and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate installations of network devices and monitoring platforms globally.
  • Engage vendors and contractors to secure optimal network and monitoring solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of analysts and technicians, driving high performance and growth.

Are You A Network & Monitoring Architecture Rock Star?

  • 12+ years of equivalent work experience or a four-year degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering strategic network architecture and operational excellence.
  • 10+ years designing complex enterprise LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, VMs, and hybrid networks.
  • 5+ years working with monitoring platforms and technologies.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Layer 2 technologies (Spanning Tree, DHCP Snooping, Multicast, IGMP Snooping, VLAN ACLs).
  • Expertise in network routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Cisco Networking, and generative AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting using Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of network traffic flow, system charts, and data privacy laws.
  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, security principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Certifications like CCNP or AWS Network Specialty are nice to have or willingness to obtain them.

Work Conditions:

  • On-call availability and occasional travel as needed.
  • Ability to inspect cabling infrastructure and lift moderately heavy equipment.
  • Willingness to serve as Incident Manager during major disruptions.
  • Commitment to resolving technical issues with urgency and precision.
