Job Title: AWS Technical Architect Location: Irving, TX / Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
Type: Fulltime
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Designing and implementing highly available and scalable systems on AWS
Creating and managing AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, etc
Hands-on knowledge of Lightspeed, Udeploy
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven architecture
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
Developing and maintaining deployment pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeDeploy
Implementing and managing monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues in real-time.
Implementing and managing security best practices for AWS resources, including IAM policies, network security, and data encryption
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
Collaborating with development teams to integrate their applications with AWS services
Experience in Agile methodology
Deploy, configure, and manage Prometheus for metrics collection and alerting.
Develop and maintain custom exporters and metric integrations.
Configure Prometheus Alertmanager and route alerts via Slack, PagerDuty, or email.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to define monitoring needs and metrics.
Troubleshoot and tune Prometheus performance in high-scale environments.
Maintain infrastructure as code for observability components (Terraform/Helm preferred).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of CICD automation.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and Monitoring tools like Prometheus.
Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
Build Grafana dashboards for real-time visualization and operational insights.
